
MyResNet Quick Tips
Dear Hiram Residents,
To get the most out of your new MyResnet connection, please follow these tips:
- MyResnet-5G: Always connect to MyResnet-5G for the fastest WiFi connection. This should be your default setting.
- MyResnet-2G: If you do not see MyResnet-5G, your device may not be able to operate at 5G speeds. Select MyResnet-2G if that is the only SSID your device sees.
- Update Drivers: MyResnet performs best with the latest drivers from your system’s manufacturer. Please update your system to the latest drivers for optimal performance.
- Wired: If you need connect to a wired port for a device, students should be using the blue ports.
